Job Description
A Bedfordshire-based Council wishes to appoint a Building Control Surveyor for an initial 3 month contract. Your role will be to ensure high standards are maintained in the interests of health & safety in the construction of buildings across the borough.
Your duties will include building control inspections of all types of development under construction to ascertain compliance with building regulations and assisting members of the public with enquiries regarding construction and building control matters over the telephone, on site and in the office.
The successful candidate will have previous Building Control experience and will have strong knowledge of building construction techniques and building regulations.
