Job Description
THE COMPANY: A nationwide multi disciplinary consultancy currently require a Development Engineer to be seconded into a local authority. They are well known for providing a variety of services on a partnership basis with various local authorities in the UK.
THE ROLE: This role will involve enforcing Section 38 and 278 of the Highways Acts, understanding of the Planning Act, the checking and approval of technicial drawings and report and letter writing.
THE PERSON: The ideal candidate will be of graduate calibre with at least 6 months experience within a development role. A good understanding of the highways and planning acts with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
