Job Description
A North London based housing association is looking for a Technical Officer for an initial 5-month contract with the opportunity to become permanent.
The housing group has received the third largest housing cooperation partnering allocation in the country. Their development programme has over 1,800 units that will need to be delivered over the next 5 years.
As Technical Officer you will be assisting the Assistant Director of Development, leading the construction team to ensure the projects are delivered up to standard. You will be providing technical advice on design and construction to the development staff and providing quality control of new homes in development as well as trouble-shooting defects in homes. You will also have to maintain the organisations development policy and procedures.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in developing policy and procedure as well as project management and an interest in modern methods of construction.
