Job Description
A Buckinghamshire Authority is looking for an experienced Town Planner to join their development control department.
The role will involve processing and making recommendations on a wide range of planning applications to a high standard of professional competence, taking into account all relevant legislation, guidance and policies.
Prepare and present the Council's case on planning appeals and, where necessary represent the Council at Public Inquiries and Hearings also assist and deputise for the Area Planning Officer as required and participate in the management of the Section.
The ideal candidate will have 5 years UK DC and or a mix of overseas and UK planning experience. A car owner is also required for this role.
