They have work in the Surrey area both inside and outside the M25, they are now keen to recruit an additional Ganger / Working Foreman.

The Company is a Groundworks and Civil Engineering contractor which works principally for major housing developers, constructing roads, sewers and groundworks for new estates. The company intends to build on this and to run their own development projects. Contracts range in value from £50,000 to £6 million, and currently their annual turnover is in excess of £20 million.

Approximately 30% of turnover is for constructing new Adopted roads and sewers. They are approved by a number of County Councils to carry out Public Works of this kind.

You will preferably live within half an hour from the M 25 and will be allocated an area based on this whereby you would be generally expected to travel to sites within a 1 hour radius of your home. Covering from 1 to 4 sites depending on the particular requirements of each site you would be provided with a company vehicle or a good allowance, with additional benefits of bonuses plus 20 days annual holiday.

Probably with a minimum of 5 years practical experience you will either have a recognised qualification in the relevant disciplines or be able to demonstrate considerable practical skills, being fully conversant with current civils and groundworks construction methods. Ideally CSCS certified, possibly qualified as a First Aider and with a current driving licence, you will be capable of taking responsibility in the field.
