Job Description
- Coding of diagnostic procedures
- Validating referrals
- Creating orders for Choose and Book referrals
- Providing administration support to internal and external customers
- Resolving telephone, fax and email queries
- Requesting, chasing and receiving GP/Specialist reports and patient consent forms
- Tracking the progress of cases to ensure that key performance indicators are met
Skills required
- Administration experience in a medical environment
- Experience of Clinical Coding
- Problem solving skills involving minor analysis or interpretation to determine the best course of action
- Ability to work within a target orientated environment
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Influencing and persuasion skills
