Job Description
As part of its ongoing mission to bring the London Underground into the 21st century, this major Rail organisation is currently recruiting for a skilled Tunnel Engineer. The successful individual will initially be assisting the client in their Deep Tube Tunnel Knowledge & Inspection Programme. This role will involve the structural assessment of deep tube tunnel assets, and the production and revision of technical reports. Ideal experience might include previous work on projects such as the Channel Tunnel Rail Link, Jubilee Line Extension, London Underground or similar deep level tunnelling projects.
Skills & Experience – Required
A degree in Civil, Structural or Mining Engineering or equivalent
Relevant work experience, preferably in an Engineering capacity
Very good familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience and practical use of finite element software
Good organisational skills
Fluent in both spoken and written English
