ASSET MANAGER

Location: City

Duration: 6 Months

Rate: Fixed Term Contract / Up to £55k + Bens (pro rata)

A leading fund management company require a qualified surveyor to act as an Asset Manager. Primary responsibility will be for the asset management of property assets for the Fund to ensure they meet or exceed the performance objectives.

You will need knowledge of the property investment market and a track record in identifying and delivering value enhancement opportunities. You must have excellent appraisal and analytical and report writing skills and a sound knowledge of the regulatory framework relating to the Fund. It is essential that you have effective man management skills (as relevant to managing the day-to-day Property Managers and dealing with valuers) and knowledge of investment acquisition and disposal processes.

You need to have experience in an asset management role within an institution or property company environment¸. A successful track record in the negotiation of lease renewals, lettings and re-lettings is also paramount as well as experience of managing external agents and consultants. Deadlines must be met so you must have solid prior exposure in preparing written reports to strict deadlines.
