PORTFOLIO MANAGER

Location: Central London

Duration: 3-6 Months

Rate: £24-27

A corporate organisation who provide long term serviced business space to the Government and major corporations are seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager who will be responsible for the management of all the properties within the Direct Investment Portfolios (approx 125 properties). This will include both day-to-day management and a role formulation of the strategy and business plan for each property.

Your main accountabilities:

• Formulate a strategy for each property within the portfolio.
  
• Ensure that rent reviews, lease renewals and break options are carried out on a timely basis and that the relevant Mapeley emphasis is present in the negotiations.
  
• Drive performance from the portfolio whilst ensuring revenue is maximised and expenditure is minimized
  
• Realise potential of sites/properties with higher alternative use value in association with the Asset Management Team
  
• Take an active role in the Departmental vacation and acquisition programme liaising with the Asset Management Team
  
• Ensure any dilapidation claims are professionally managed and diligently pursued in Mapeley’s best interest
  
• Ensure that day-to-day management is undertaken smoothly in accordance with the high level of customer service set by Mapeley. In particular support the Landlord Help desk in meeting performance targets.
  
• Manage the budgeted performance of each property asset¸ working with the field operational teams (Services¸ Life Cycle and Projects).
  
• In conjunction with the Service Charge and Insurance Team actively pursue reduction in outgoings and to maximise income.
