Our client has taken a bullish approach in expanding their share of the market and as such with a strong financial base, to call upon, have won additional contracts over and above their current staffing capacity. Their competitors and the industry recognize their ability to run profitable projects, growing over the last 30 years, with an accelerated approach in the last 3 years. They have and are continuing to win some prestige and landmark projects.

Specialising in structures, mainly RC, however they are also involved in demolition works, design & build, fit out and refurbishments works. Their contracts range from £500k to £18m and they aim to turn over £100m in 2005 – 2006.

Accordingly we are looking for a very good Project Manager to take on this additional project. The work is situated within the M25, on an area adjoining LUL and Rail sites. Coming from a proven background in civil engineering, with RC frames experience essential, you will be required to take responsibility for the project both in the construction and the commercial elements, the project and engineering staff, sub contractors and overall day to day running of the project / projects on values of £500k to £10m. If you have been 2nd in charge on a substantial project and can demonstrate aspirations to succeed you may also suit.
