Job Description

- Socio-economic assessments and social impact assessments
- Public consultation with local communities and other project stakeholders
- Research and report writing
- To contribute to the drafting of expressions of interest (EOIs), tenders marketing and briefing papers
- Depending on experience and interest, to provide input on international projects, either UK desk-based or in-country

Your skill set and experience should include:

- Knowledge of social and community/urban regeneration issues within the UK, both policy and practice, including equalities issues.
- Knowledge and understanding of preparing social needs or impact assessment
- Experience of working in the UK in a regeneration setting or with a social/community aspect
- Understanding/experience of designing public consultation strategies and conducting public consultation
- Experience with working within a Consultancy a distinct advantage
- Knowledge/understanding of health impact assessment
- Ability to design and analyse social surveys
- Experience of working overseas on either voluntary or paid basis
