Job Description

I have a new position for a North London Strategic Alliance Olympics and Special Projects Manager.

The purpose of the post is to support the North London Strategic Alliance to make progress on its agreed objectives. These objectives are agreed by the North London Strategic Alliance Steering Group.

North London has a series of strategic projects which are being delivered or facilitated by the NLSA these include: developing sub regional planning policy; supporting the development of a development and investment framework for London's part of the London - Stansted growth corridor; understanding and developing the north London economy; developing a new vision and implementation plan for the Upper Lee Valley; promoting and co-ordinating north London's contribution to the 2012 Olympics and para-Olympics; promoting the sub-region and improving communication within sub-region.

This is initially a six month contract and is ideal for someone with a strong background in Strategic Planning, Regeneration and or Project Management.
