Job Description

The project involves all operations associated with a new build scheme, including basement excavation, cores and floors to multiple storey levels, moving on to the external envelope.

An engineering background, formal training and qualifications, approximately 3 - 5 years relevant site experience, working for either an RC frame contractor, a main contractor who controls the construction process, an acknowledged Groundworks contractor or a builder / developer, will give you the necessary skills to handle this job. Experience in having worked on projects exceeding £1 - 3m is preferred

Our client, who currently has a turnover exceeding £40m, working on projects from £250k to £10m, is looking for an Engineer who is able to take on the responsibility and challenges that go with a busy site, and has the initiative to think ahead and forward plan with the Project Manager.

Current CSCS card essential and a First Aid certificate would be advantageous, but not obligatory. The site runs on a 5 day week. This is a contract role, and the client has a large number of other schemes underway, so continuity of work is assured. A Permanent option may be available if you prefer.
