Senior /Principal Geotechnical Engineer

Responsibilities
• Preparation of site investigation proposals for work
• Co-ordinating fieldworks within the team
• Sorting out problems on site
• Assistance with invoicing
• Preparation and reviewing of reports and issuing of reports
• Mentoring graduate engineers

Supported progression with more responsibility, dependant on performance

Requirements
• A proven track record with geotechnical experience some of which must be with an SI contractor, some with a consultant
• Preparation of site investigation proposals for work
• Experience of co-ordinating fieldworks within the team
• Experience in preparation and reviewing of reports and issuing of reports
• Staff management experience
• Experienced in soil and rock logging
• Must have strong understanding of the practicalities of fieldwork
• Strong level of practical skills
• Strong practical skillbase
• Enthusiastic and keen to learn

Educated to degree level in civil engineering/engineering geology or similar
