Job Description
ESTATES SURVEYORS
Location: Cambridgeshire
Duration: 6-12 Months
Rate: £20-£24 per hour
Working for one of the UK largest land owners¸ you will work within a small team delivering Estates / Lands Management Services (principally General Practice but also some Rural Practice)¸ across a varied portfolio across the East Midlands & East of England.
Typical areas of service delivery and advice include:
- Letting of business and agricultural property
- Negotiation and acquisition of Hirings
- Negotiation of Rent Reviews¸ Renewals and Terminations of business tenancies
- General Landlord and Tenant work¸ support and advice to customers¸ boundary integrity and site survey work¸ neighbour and tenant liaison
- Settling claims for damage
- Town & Country Planning – submission of planning applications¸ scrutiny of Local Plans¸ Local Development Frameworks & Regional Spatial Strategies etc at review and local planning lists¸ general advice to colleagues & customers
- Capital and Rental Valuations
The client ideally needs someone who is a team player and demonstrates initiative when required. They must be self confident so that they can express themselves to clients and all other parties.
