With a wealth of experience in the RC disciplines, this is an up and coming contractor who is working on projects to £4m.

The area of work is centred on Birmingham and extends out along the M1 / M42 / M5 corridors.
The work involves predominantly RC frame work with elements of pre-cast for installed items.

The schemes are similar in that they comprise traditional groundworks starting with excavation, moving on through piling, drainage, sub-structure and super-structure RC. In one steel frames will be utilised for the upper stories and for the atrium display areas. The schemes are commercial comprising multi-storey structures over double basements.

Engineers who are capable of working with the Project Managers to provide all the site setting out information accurately and are able to stay ahead of the workforce are sought. Standard QA procedures will be in place and your duties will include setting out and following up with as-builts, checking for design queries, maintaining the site diary, raising RFI’s, cubing up for concrete, supervising pours and generally ensuring that the sites proceed as smoothly and satisfactorily as possible. This is a role that requires a good level of communication and the ability to work with the Site Foremen to plan ahead.
