Job Description
A central belt Scottish local authority, with easy access to the city of Edinburgh require an enthusiastic development control planner to work on a long term contract basis. You will be responsible for processing development applications, appeals and other planning activities. You will be expected to deal with customers in a positive, helpful manner and be able to work effectively to deadlines with minimum supervision.
You should have a good knowledge of planning legislation and government guidance on planning matters. Planners who are not yet members of the RTPI will also be considered.
