Job Description

An urgent opportunity has arisen for a Drainage Engineer to join my Client's team in East London.

You should have a degree or HNC/HND in Construction, Civil Engineering or a related technical discipline. You will be working on a projects assessing sewer flooding of residential areas throughout the South East of England - a major problem for the Utility providers at the current time - especially with the high incidences of heavy rain in the last couple of weeks! You will be assessing survey reports and site investigations, and preparing reports on the flooding history and risk. Some familiarity with AutoCAD packages would be a definite advantage as you will be preparing plans for submission with these reports.

The role would suit someone who is enthusiastic, with an interest in the drainage area.

This role will be on a contract basis. The offices are easily accessible by the local train network out of East London.
