Job Description

A well know residential client is looking for an experienced cashier. The Cashier role is extremely vital within our accounts department. Working within the Treasury section of the Accounts department alongside Purchase Ledger staff you will support the team providing a comprehensive service in relation to Cashiering and assistance within the team.

This will involve:
Management Fees - Regular review and updating of management fee data for all portfolios reconciliation of Management fee debtors reporting quarterly fees to Corporate Accounts regular review of funds available and payment of fees

Insurance - Processing Insurance renewal invoices regular review of outstanding invoices processing payments to brokers within terms

Legal Fee invoices - Processing of invoices and recharges to tenants regular review of legal fee debtors resolution of queries raised processing payments to solicitors

Ground Rents - Generation of ground rent reporting and payments to Clients

Bank Reconciliation - Completion of all monthly bank reconciliations to comply with RICS

I-site Assistance with processing of standing orders, debit/credit card receipts

Electricity Reviewing all current bills received liaison with property managers to arrange meter readings raising requests for refunds where accounts are in credit Monitoring and follow up of all queries

The successful candidate will have advanced computer skills, including Word, Excel, and knowledge of ECS (Estate Computer system) you must also be able to work well under pressure and have the ability to meet strict deadlines. Accuracy is essential and you must have a keen eye for detail.

It is essential that you have a sound accounts background; qualifications are not essential however they would be a strong advantage. You will need to have experience within a property accounting environment.
