Job Description

Specifically you will be responsible for;

1. Electronic and hard copy assimilation and distribution of drawings
2. Issue of latest relevant drawings to the Sub Contractors on site and to other sub contractors
3. Collate and organize documents as required for various site reports & for issue of various tender packages.
4. Edit, Create and issue sketches/ drawings using Auto CAD
5. Maintaining log / Registers of schedules, specification & Method Statements etc received from various consultants / contractors
6. Maintenance of proper records in regarding Accidents, Health and Safety/ etc in consultation with Site Health & Safety Manager.
7. Assist Senior Document Controller in similar duties

Requirements
• IT proficient - Auto CAD skills essential.
• You will have a minimum NVQ level 3 or above
• You will be able to maintain document change control and quality control procedures, plus competent in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of computer programs for records tracking and archiving
• Working knowledge of printing/ plotting in various types of printers/ plotters.
• Good Communication skills both verbal and written essential

A salary of £18,000 to £24,000 is offered with the chance to work for a progressive company on some of London’s major projects.

The Company has been working in the London region for many years and has evolved from a family based operation supplying labour to the main contractors to a major sub contractor, running projects from £0.5m - £32m+, as a contractor in its own right. The company has a strong input in both build and civils markets and wishes to utilise this background and the skills base available to operate in the Rail & LUL areas. The parent company is extremely financially sound.
