This friendly and thriving nursing home in the West Midlands, which forms part of a larger group, has an exciting vacancy for a Nursing Manager. The home has 77 beds with 3 units covering the elderley (not EMI), the young physically disabled, and intermediate care (rehab). This is a well run, quality nurisng home with high standards of care and commitment. The manager is responsible for 120 staff and is supported by 2 deputy managers. To be considered for this post, you will need to be a qualified RGN with current, valid registration and have significant experience of running a nursing or residential care home in the recent past. ENB 998/941 as well as a Management Certificate/Diploma RMA is desirable, though not essential. The standard working week is 40 hours from 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday and there is no formal oncall system in place. Obviously, the manager will have to take out of hours calls from time to time as the post demands. Remuneration for this position will be £40,000 with an attractive benefits package.
