Job Description
As part of its ongoing mission to bring the London Underground into the 21st century, this major Rail organisation is currently recruiting for a skilled Permanent Way Design Engineer to undertake junction work design. The ideal individual will be a competent Engineer with working experience in the Railway industry, either on LUL/Metro or National Railways. You should be flexible as the position entails working on operational railways (track and tunnels), plus working unsociable hours (some nights). Technical abilities should include practical experience of InRail or MxRail, CAD Microstation or AutoCAD, Laser Sweep/Clear Route assessment. In addition you should possess an ONC/HNC in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
