Job Description

£2m value to contractor, warehouse extension. Acting as the Contractor’s site representative and able to supervise the various operations carried out by subcontractors, including piling, groundworks and the installation of concrete beams and floors, steelwork and cladding plus finishes and externals.

You will act for the contractor on site representing their interests throughout the installation progress of some 15 plus weeks. This is a new build extension on site and if you have experience in working on more than one of the following disciplines: RC frames, Steel frames, Groundworks in Commercial or Residential schemes you will be able to handle the role.

This work is expected to last for between 15 and 18 weeks and is for a contractor that works nationally and has picked up a number of jobs in East London, on projects for a range of end users, mainly in the warehouse and associated sectors. The client has multiple projects currently and would be prepared to offer further work on the satisfactory conclusion of this project.

You will probably have a minimum of 4 years site management experience and must be able to demonstrate that you have worked on fast track projects, overseeing work accurately and clearly communicating with the labour force as to the information you have supplied. Engineering or trades backgrounds are equally suitable.

Permission to live and work in the UK, a current CSCS card and relevant technical qualifications must be demonstrated, a First Aid Certificate would be advantageous.
