Job Description

The BBT Glasgow office is seeking degree qualified Highways Design Engineers and Structural Engineers for several prestigious consultancies in Scotland.

Your experience should involve highway geometric design and maintenance, drainage, lighting designs, public consultations, estimating and contract documentation.

Your duties will include inspection work, feasibility studies, report preparation, cost estimating, contract preparation and some supervision, together with project planning and programming. Work will also involve the management of sub-contractors and sub-consultants when appropriate.

You need to have at least 2 years’ experience of design work for maintenance and upgrading of roads and highways.

You need to be degree qualified.
Knowledge of Highway Link, MX ROAD and MX RENEW would be an advantage.

These are all permanent positions in Scotland giving you the chance to earn £25000 to £27000 per year in this beautiful region.
