Job Description
An excellent opportunity for an inspirational and aspiring planning/development professional.
On offer is a rewarding and challenging position for a motivated leader and decision-maker. You will manage and direct a holistic, high performing Planning Service - incorporating Development Control, Building Control, Forward Planning, Property and Land Charges teams.
Reporting to the Strategic Director, and capable of deputising, you will need a proven successful record of leading and improving the delivery of quality, customer focused front line services, preferably in a local authority or similar public sector body.
You will also possess good motivational and interpersonal skills, be an effective communicator, and will have opportunity to contribute to The Council’s overall vision and direction as part of its Corporate Management Team.
