Job Description

Our client is currently employing Engineers on ground preparation, earthworks, drainage and general infrastructure initially and needs an additional Junior Engineer to work on the permanent works that are just starting. The work will involve some of the above operations but will focus initially on pilecaps, groundbeams, stanchion bases, HD bolts and floor slabs.

We need a Junior Engineer / Land Surveyor conversant with modern survey equipment, ideally familiar with GPS, who is prepared to not only set out the pegs for line and level but to also ensure that the men on site are aware of their relevance. You must be able to keep site diaries, recording daily activities and occurrences, raise RFI’s as relevant, working with the Section Engineer, to ensure safe working practices are adhered to and generally aim for a successful project.

Ongoing training will be available from experienced company Engineers. This is potentially a very long run of work as the site opens up. All applicants must have a current CSCS card and be legally entitled to live and work in the UK. Only applicants who are legally entitled to live and work in the UK will be considered.
