Job Description
A CAD manager is required to join a 10 strong structural consultancy based close to London Bridge. The firm works on a range of building products, residential new build and large refurbishment projects, schools, colleges, hotels and mixed use schemes. The practice has been well published and has a range of awards. They have a fast increasing workload and the size of the firm is expected to over this year.
The CAD team of three are now seeking a new CAD Manager who can take over the team, advise the directors and expand the team to meet the future workload requirements, which involve the following:
Leadership of the CAD Team
Execute CAD drawings including some RC detailing
Coordinate outsourcing for RC drawings
Advise Directors on CAD resourcing
Manage procurement of CAD software
Advise company on IT and liaise with IT consultant
