Job Description

A rail company in central London is looking for a qualified and experience Town Planner to join their commercial property division.

This position will cover a large geographical area, which enables work to be very varied dealing with a breadth of projects and property portfolio worked on, so this opportunity within the company is unique in the rail market place.

Key skills required;
Heritage Advise – covering 1,500 listed buildings, planning application experience is critical, maximising asset value.
Advising project and local planning authorities on consent regimes required for operational railways projects, planning policy process to secure commercial development opportunities for surplus railway lands.

You must be degree qualified and previous experience in planning policy will be an added advantage but is not necessary, town planning experience is a must.
