Job Description

A west London Borough needs an enforcement planner to join their DC/Enforcement section.

The role will be to contribute to the provision of an efficient and effective planning enforcement service, investigating alleged breaches of planning control and recommending appropriate action.

To investigate a wide variety of enforcement cases, taking appropriate action in accordance with relevant planning legislation and guidance, make balanced decisions on the expediency of taking enforcement action, in consultation with the Enforcement Team Leader.

Negotiate solutions where appropriate prepare reports for consideration under delegated powers and by Committee and processing appeals and other legal proceedings as needed.

Ideally we are looking for a candidate who has previous planning experience in a similar role and holds a Town Planning degree. A full clean drivers license is necessary for this role.
