Job Description

This Project is a major accommodation scheme in West London comprising in excess of 800 apartments with integral health and leisure facilities. There will be a mix of private, affordable and rented living space. The buildings will be multi storey RC frames, some structural steel will be utilised on the upper floors for penthouses and premiere suites. The project will be in the region of £110m and has a scheduled completion date at the end of 2009.

This Excellent Company is currently expanding with major projects throughout London and the south-east. They have senior management staff within the company with particularly strong construction links and backgrounds thus giving them a distinctive edge over their competitors. With many notable developments already constructed or under construction the company has work already in hand through 2007, 2008 and into 2009.

Your Role will be a site based one, with 1 or 2 days a week at Head Office. The packages for piling, concrete and the lifts will probably have been let when you join, so your brief will be to co-ordinate, appraise and let the remaining packages, having full commercial responsibility for all aspects of the project as it proceeds, reporting to a Commercial Director.

Your Background to date will involve education to tertiary level, ideally degree qualified with a Quantity Surveying bias, employment within the UK for a recognised and progressive contractor or developer and a clear indication that you are career and progress motivated.
