Senior Engineer. Currently seeking an Experienced Engineer for a new £19m project. Initially working on site establishment and moving ahead on the new build elements, your role will later require involvement in the structural refurbishment of the adjoining site. You will have setting out Engineers to assist.

This project is a £19m new build residential build with associated refurbishment of adjoining buildings to provide further accommodation units. We intend to take on Senior Engineer with an engineering background who is capable of taking on some managerial responsibilities. This and further vacancies have arisen through winning additional projects up to £27m, necessitating site based positions for extensive groundworks packages with associated infrastructure works and RC structures.

The successfull candidate will have setting out skills, having come up through the ranks and will be responsible for all the Engineering elements of the project, some programming in conjunction with the Project Manager, as well as QA / QC and associated management duties. The candidate we seek should have qualifications to Diploma or Degree status. You should probably have at least 4-5 years engineering experience after graduation, and be permitted to legally work in the UK.

The company has been established for over 30 years, having an annual turnover approaching £100m. They are an established civil engineering contractor, with a strong reputation in the marketplace. With a strong financial background they are a sound contractor, specialising in RC structures, now moving on from the shell and core to turnkey projects to £27m. The company has work secured for the forthcoming year that will see a considerable growth in turnover.
