What is the UK Residence Permit?
Is it something you apply for when you are in the UK?
I will be on a WHM visa which was issued after an appeal before the YMS was introduced.
So can I apply for a Residence Permit when I start working in the UK?

Hi there
Unfortunately the working holiday visa in no way qualifies you for a further UK visa or further residence. I'm not sure which form of UK residence you are actually referring to but you have to leave the UK at the end of your two years in the UK if you are on a working holiday visa.
