Hi everyone,

Just wondering whether anyone has had any experience with tier 1 application through the Paris post.

I applied, paid and gave my biometric details on August 18 but still have not had any feedback.

On the website, they claim to process all applications, except settlement, within 10 working days, which is great of course.

For me, it's now the 25th working day. I am getting rather concerned and anxious but have not been able to get any useful help from WorldBridge or directly from the British Embassy. To make everything more urgent, I have 5 job interviews lined up in London next week after postponing 3 times.

Would love to hear what, if any, people's experiences with the Paris post have been like. Could they have lost my files altogether?

I am currently working in France so the application was filed at the VAC in Paris... Any thoughts/inputs would be greatly appreciated.

massgolfer,

Question. What document did you submit for the maintenance requirement? I am asking this because the guideline changed on September 11 and stated that the funds must now be cash.

As stated before, I submitted on the 18th and still waiting...

I submitted stubs from a US brokerage account where most of the funds are in stocks/funds and not in cash...

did you submit for Tier 1 or for HSMP transitional?

I applied for the regular Tier 1 General without the letter. As we both submitted before the September 11 update, I hope they will not apply the new rule regarding maintenance retroactively.

Still no reply.
