An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Locum MSK Physiotherapist at Basinghall Clinics in London. This role is ideal for a physiotherapist with solid MSK experience looking for flexible part-time work. The position involves working 2-3 days a week, typically Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. You will be responsible for assessing and treating musculoskeletal conditions, providing high-quality care to a diverse caseload of patients. The position is available for an immediate start and offers the chance to work in a supportive clinic environment.
Responsibilities:
As a Band 6 MSK Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including joint, soft tissue, and orthopaedic issues. You will manage a varied caseload, developing and implementing treatment plans, using evidence-based techniques to achieve optimal outcomes. The role involves providing both hands-on treatment and education to patients, including tailored exercise programs, manual therapy, and other therapeutic interventions. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patients receive holistic care and will be expected to deliver high-quality, patient-centered therapy across the clinic. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will need to liaise with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible treatment plans and discharge planning.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy
- HCPC registered Physiotherapist
- Significant experience in Musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy, including assessment and treatment of a wide range of MSK conditions
- Proven ability to manage a caseload and work independently
- Experience using manual therapy, exercise prescription, and evidence-based interventions for MSK conditions
- Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with patients and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure
- Experience working in a clinic or outpatient setting (desirable)
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice
