Locum Consultant in Endocrinology & Diabetes

Chelsea and Westminster Hospital Foundation Trust (CWH) wishes to appoint a Locum Consultant Physicians in Diabetes, Endocrinology and General Medicine. The Trust is looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated physicians to join the team.

The Department of Endocrinology and Diabetes is one of the largest in the country, combining general and specialist diabetes and endocrinology, including nationally commissioned specialist endocrinology.

This post will include general diabetes and endocrinology clinics, along with a rotational commitment to general medicine.

The appointee will:
Provide general diabetes and endocrine clinics, as well as other clinics as determined by the job plan and requirements of the service

Share a commitment to care of general medical in-patients under the endocrine team

Participate in the acute medical on call rota for Chelsea and Westmister Hospital

Enhance the educational opportunities available to our trainees by any reorganisation and development of services that they initiate.

Regular audits will be required and supervision for Quality Improvement Projects (QIP) undertaken by the trainees…
