As a Primary Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing feedback to support their development.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that supports diverse student needs.
• Foster a love of learning and encourage curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school community.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour management, ensuring a respectful and focused learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to keep them informed about their child’s progress and well-being.
• Uphold school policies, including safeguarding and child protection procedures.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in a primary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and engage young learners, tailoring approaches to meet individual needs.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
