As a Quality Assurance Engineer within our UK Defence business you’ll be responsible for Quality Assurance activities on critical UK maritime defence programmes to support mission success. Reporting to the Mission Assurance Lead, you’ll be a linchpin in the MA/QA team.
A uniquely positioned team within the organisation, you’ll have the chance to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the programme, customer and subcontractor organisations to create working relationships focussed on mission success. You’ll be at the forefront of a multi-disciplined assurance team supporting nationally important programmes. We bring a diverse range of process and technical knowledge across varied engineering disciplines to help ensure the success of UK Defence programmes.

Responsibilities:
– Conduct QA activities on assigned projects, providing independent oversight to ensure compliance with all required contractual quality requirements and processes
– Work with assigned project teams and Global Supply Chain team to assure supplier quality, including supplier on-boarding activities and ongoing supplier performance management
– Maintain effective relationships with key supplier quality personnel
– Liaise with customers, partners, suppliers and other third parties regarding all aspects of Quality Assurance for assigned projects
– Ensure customer deliverables fulfil contractual requirements and standards for quality assurance
